Stud Prep 14 is a multipurpose sweetfeed containing added oil and beet pulp, specially formulated for putting condition onto horses. This feed is ideal for horses bound for the sales ring. It will help them put on body condition evenly, and keep them manageable and level-headed in their work. The high levels of oils and ‘super-fibres’ provide extremely palatable calories, reducing the reliance on starch in the ration. As a result, horses are easier to handle and quickly become sleek and well-toned with excellent topline and muscle definition during their sales preparation.
Specifically formulated to be a versatile conditioning feed, Stud Prep 14 produces a dense ‘boost’ in energy over conventional sweetfeeds. Premium quality grains are blended with sugar beet pulp and soya oil, then fortified using Stamm 30® supplement for nutrient continuity so it contains BMC® (Buffered Mineral Complex). The marine-derived source of biovavailable minerals in BMC® can maximise bone density, and subsequent skeletal strength and maintenance, support gastric health and maintain hindgut stability.
This feed is ideal for conditioning horses under stress, or for any horse with a poor appetite that is experiencing digestive difficulties. Broodmares can also benefit from this high oil formulation, particularly during lactation when energy demands are at their highest. Heavy milkers, and older mares that have problems holding their condition may find it easier to consume a more concentrated feed like Stud Prep 14 to prevent significant weight loss. Recent research has shown that regardless of birth month, mares that exhibited a negative energy balance post-partum (losing weight or negative daily weight change) had foals that did not gain as much weight in their first five months as foals from mares that were in a positive energy balance.

Unwanted Goods
If you decide that you do not want an item that you have ordered, please complete the tear off slip at the bottom of your invoice and pack the products securely. It is important that the returned items are in the best possible condition, so please take reasonable care of them. See our Terms and Conditions. Then post them to the address at the bottom of the returns slip. Failure to complete the form may result in a delay in processing your return.
Please ensure that you obtain and retain a proof of posting when you return your goods. This is to protect you in the event that your goods are lost in transit.

If you notify us of your intention to return a product you have purchased from us that you have taken reasonable care of within fourteen working days from the day after delivery we will issue you with a full refund. The refund will be issued within 30 days of cancellation.
Faulty Goods
In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please call 01769 576419 to arrange collection of the goods. Please have your order number ready.
You will be issued with a returns number that should be written down. Please then re-package the goods and put a note of the returns number you have been given in with them. Please write the address shown at the bottom of the returns slip (which accompanies your invoice) clearly on the parcel. We will then arrange for your parcel to be collected.
There is no charge for the return of faulty goods.

Restricted Goods
We are unable to offer in store refunds on certain types of goods due to restrictions:
- Animal medicines – general and vaccines
- Agrochemicals - herbicides, pesticides and fungicides
- Underwear
- Frozen, refrigerated or temperature sensitive products
- Animal feeds - products which are fed to animals destined for the human food chain
- Equestrian Safetywear including riding hats and body protectors
