MOLE VALLEY FARMERS CONFIRMED AS HOYS SPONSORS
Mole Valley Farmers is delighted to announce a new association with the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS), agreeing to a three-year sponsorship of the National Pony Society's (NPS) plaited Working Hunter Pony Championships.
HOYS provides the finale of the Working Hunter Pony Championship and Mole Valley Farmers is thrilled to support the UK’s most prestigious equine event and work with the NPS to promote the versatility of British riding ponies in this sought after and popular championship.
The classes provide a great platform for younger riders to go on to succeed in adult working hunter classes and into top level eventing and the hunting field. The championship finals are held on the Friday of the show in the Topspec Arena at Birmingham’s NEC, with the first two prize winners in each section going through to the overall NPS/Mole Valley Farmers Working Hunter Pony of the Year Championship.
This is held on the Friday evening of the show, which runs from the 6th to the 10th of October, under the spotlights in the iconic Andrews Bowen International Arena.
Cathy Wood, Head of Retail Procurement at Mole Valley Farmers said:
“We are delighted to be sponsoring the plaited Working Hunter Ponies at HOYS in conjunction with the National Pony Society.
“This incredible set of classes caters for young riders, up to the age of 25 across four height sections. This series encourages children and young adults to compete within a mixed event of showing and jumping, encouraging all-round horsemanship.
“HOYS is the dream of so many young riders - supporting 88 qualifiers around the country as well as the final, feels a really worthwhile contribution to our next generation.”
