Moletag
Our best value tag range for both cattle and sheep. Offering outstanding features, high retention rates and excellent EID readability.
The MoleTag cattle range includes Official primary and secondary tag sets with combinations of Visual, EID and Tissue Sampling tags (TST) for BVD eradication. A wide range of management options, size and colour options as well as Secondary Button tags to suit any breed, size or system. The Mole range can all be applied with a MoleTag applicator, apart from the TST range which requires the new metal universal applicator and this also applies the entire MoleTag range too.
With MoleTag sheep, goat, or alpaca tags, we offer the high retention Mole EID Slaughter tag which can be quickly and safely inserted with the Retractable Applicator reducing ear tear risk. There is also a wide colour choice in the Mole Breeding Set range with an EID and Visual Matchup tag with Management Print options too. Reliable EID readability assists in market selection and other management tasks.

Datamars Livestock based in the Scottish Borders have a proven ear tag range to support UK livestock producers and is a trusted partner supplying Mole Valley with their range of cattle and sheep tags as well as market-leading brands like Prattley handling systems and Tru-Test’s range of weigh heads, load bars and EID panel and stick readers. Datamars manufactures and laser marks their own tags and makes the RFID transponder chips inside our EID range. All are manufactured, distributed and supported by a comprehensive UK-based After Service.

The Z Tag cattle range is renowned for high retention easy application, free rotation, staying soft and flexible, and retaining a readable visual laser mark. Applied with the No tear tagger or the Z Tag Universal cattle pliers.
TagFaster is the only fully automatic sheep tagging solution NOW WITH A NEW IMPROVED APPLICATOR being easy to load and quicker to apply than any other. Tagging 20 EID Slaughter tags between reloads or 10 Breeding Sets, all organised on a single strip tag meaning you can do entire batches up to six times faster on your own!
Sheep ear tags in the TagFaster range are lightweight and have an extremely sharp piercing pin eliminating the risk of bending pins on older animals. The Automatic Ear Release means when the tag is clicked together, there is no need to release your grip as the ear is released instantly, automatically. This reduces animal stress and the chance of ear damage.
