Puppyhood is a time of big changes. During your medium-sized puppy's intense growth period, they need enough calories and the right nutrients to grow healthily. This is a time when your puppy's bones, muscles, senses and nervous system are developing. It's also the period when the antibodies your puppy got from their mother's colostrum weaken, meaning they need optimal protein to build their own immune system.
ROYAL CANIN Medium Puppy is specially formulated to support the nutritional needs of medium-sized puppies. This formula is suitable for 2 to 12-month-old puppies that should reach an adult weight of 11-25kg. This formula contains nutrients such as vitamins C and E to help support the puppies' natural defences while their immune systems are still developing. It is enriched with omega-3 fatty acids (such as DHA) which help to support healthy brain development in puppies. Thanks to a combination of beneficial prebiotics (such as FOS, MOS and beet pulp) and highly digestible proteins, ROYAL CANIN Medium Puppy also helps to support a healthy balance of intestinal microbiota (gut flora) for good digestion. Additionally, the formula contains an optimal energy content designed to satisfy the energy needs of growing, medium-sized puppies.
The kibble in ROYAL CANIN Medium Puppy has also been specially designed for the mouth of a medium-sized puppy. It's intended to be large enough to discourage bolting, but not so big that a puppy becomes reluctant to eat. It also helps to support dental health, thanks to a mechanical brushing effect as your puppy chews. Did you know that a puppy's nutritional needs change as they grow? By the time your medium-sized puppy reaches 12 months old, they will need a diet that's specially adapted to meet their nutritional needs as a grown dog. At this stage, you can transition them onto ROYAL CANIN Medium Adult, available either as a dry kibble diet or with wet chunks in gravy. Unwanted Goods
If you decide that you do not want an item that you have ordered, please complete the tear off slip at the bottom of your invoice and pack the products securely. It is important that the returned items are in the best possible condition, so please take reasonable care of them. See our Terms and Conditions. Then post them to the address at the bottom of the returns slip. Failure to complete the form may result in a delay in processing your return.
Please ensure that you obtain and retain a proof of posting when you return your goods. This is to protect you in the event that your goods are lost in transit.

If you notify us of your intention to return a product you have purchased from us that you have taken reasonable care of within fourteen working days from the day after delivery we will issue you with a full refund. The refund will be issued within 30 days of cancellation.
Faulty Goods
In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods please call 01769 576419 to arrange collection of the goods. Please have your order number ready.
You will be issued with a returns number that should be written down. Please then re-package the goods and put a note of the returns number you have been given in with them. Please write the address shown at the bottom of the returns slip (which accompanies your invoice) clearly on the parcel. We will then arrange for your parcel to be collected.
There is no charge for the return of faulty goods.

Restricted Goods
We are unable to offer in store refunds on certain types of goods due to restrictions:

- Agrochemicals - herbicides, pesticides and fungicides
- Underwear

- Animal feeds - products which are fed to animals destined for the human food chain

| Feeding Guidelines | Feeding guidelines are provided for each ROYAL CANIN® diet, based on the age, size, and/or weight of the pet. These indicate the amount to feed your pet each day. It is recommended to divide this into at least two or three meals throughout the day. Use an appropriate weighing scale and/or the specific measuring cup as noted on the bag. Always ensure that you measure food very carefully. We recommend at least a 7-day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Days 1 and 2. On Days 3 and 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Days 5 and 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. |
