Product Description

Perfect for spring, summer, autumn and over-wintered protected sowings. Produces a bountiful crop of sweet and succulent peas. Easy to grow. No staking required. Sow October-December & February-July. Harvest May-October. Sow every two weeks for continuous crops. For spring or autumn sowing.

R = Round seed. Hardy, and can be sown in late autumn or January-March. DID YOU KNOW....? Round seed provides nowhere for water to collect and rot the seed, so can be sown in winter, but wrinkled seed collects water, so can only be sown when the soil is drier in spring.

Growing Information:

Sow seeds in rows 20cm (8") apart direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed-free soil, at a depth of 5cm (2") and cover the seed lightly with soil. Germination usually takes 7-14 days. Gradually thin seedlings to 5cm (2") apart. This variety does not require any canes for support. If growing over winter or in early spring, protective fleece or cloches will be required. Make successional sowings for continuous crops. Sowing to cropping 12-16 weeks.
